Peloton girl is brilliantly back...for Aviation Gin

I’d promised myself no more posting, commenting or acknowledging the Peloton ad. Been there. Done that. Pounded it to death.

Well, I lied. Peloton is back on this blog thanks to Ryan Reynolds. AND WE ARE HERE FOR IT.

This post will be short and sweet. Just like the latest video for Ryan Reynolds-backed Aviation Gin, where you may notice a familiar face.

C’mon, people. This is everything. Funny. Smart. Incredibly nimble. Says a ton without saying a whole lot (The Gift that Won’t Give Back!), and still manages to not be too heavy-handed in terms of the underlying cancel culture vibe of seemingly everything these days. Sure, it’s poking some fun. But mostly it’s doing what enlightened brand marketers do - especially those working for a booze brand led by a comedic actor whose brand has already established itself as innovative, witty and willing to risk. It taps into pop culture and conversation. It leads with content. And they do it all while clearly not taking themselves or their brand too seriously. All launched with a tweet.

Just. Freaking. Brilliant.

I’m usually a brown liquor guy, but this one might just deserve a gin toast.

As Aviation’s purveyors might espouse about their product…so smooooooth.
